The Horseshoe Tavern hosts a celebration of life for longtime bartender Eric "Big Country" Christensen on September 23rd. Friends and regulars are invited to raise one last shot of fernet in his memory.

Since 1954, the Horseshoe Tavern has proudly called itself "the non-Marina bar in the Marina," pouring $8 margaritas, cheap drafts, and Long Islands with a reputation of their own. It's the rare Marina bar that feels like it predates the Marina itself.
