Friday, October 16, 2026, 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM · Monty Bar, DTLA, Los Angeles
Monty Bar screens the short film Carrot Farmer, followed by a costume contest with two Teragram Ballroom show tickets as the grand prize. DJ Tristan Dean spins after the screening, and the event is free.
A downtown dive that knows exactly what it is and has zero interest in evolving, thank you very much. Dim, wood-paneled, and perpetually buzzing with regulars who’ve been coming here since before DTLA was a brand, it’s all strong pours, jukebox energy, and conversations that drift between nonsense and unexpected honesty. There’s karaoke, there’s dancing, and there’s always someone who feels like they’ve been here for three days straight. Come late, order whatever’s fastest, and don’t overthink it.
