Friday, October 9, 2026, 1:00 AM - 4:00 AM ยท ALPHAVILLE, Bushwick, New York City
Electric '77 hosts Bodies, a free R&B, soul and funk dance party at Alphaville starting at 9pm in the front room before moving to the back dance floor around 10. Expect low-bpm grooves from Sade, Chaka Khan, Betty Davis, D'Angelo and more.
Part dive bar, part live music venue, part restaurant that sells a burger-fries-beer-and-a-shot combo for fifteen dollars and calls it the Bushwick Happy Meal. The bands are up-and-coming, the cocktails are strong and well-made, and the room has that specific energy of a place built by people who grew up on Devo and The Clash.
