Sunday, October 25, 2026, 9:00 PM - 12:00 AM ยท Starr Bar, Bushwick, New York City
NYC-DSA Socialist Feminists host a free screening of the 1976 horror classic Carrie at Starr Bar on October 25th. Admission is free with a suggested donation of unopened pads or tampons, and costumes are encouraged.
This is not your average Bushwick watering hole. Social justice isn't just a vibe here. It's literally in the founding mission, baked into every event, art show and open mic. Happy hour runs 5-7 daily so show up early and stay for whatever's happening.
