Sahadi's joins Brooklyn's oldest and largest street festival, sampling phyllo pies, flatbreads, and stuffed pitas along Atlantic Avenue. The free festival runs from Hicks Street to 4th Avenue with food, crafts, and entertainment.
A Middle Eastern provisions shop in Cobble Hill with over 200 bulk bins of nuts, dried fruits, and imported olives running the length of the room, alongside barrels of coffee and a spice wall deep enough to stock a serious pantry. The prepared mezze counter turns out house hummus, baba ghanoush, hand-rolled grape leaves, and salt-cured olives that make it hard to leave empty-handed.
