Saturday, November 7, 2026, 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM · Heavy Manners Library, Echo Park, Los Angeles
An Evening of Poetry at Heavy Manners Library features readings by six local writers, including Charlie Stuip, Derek Talbott, Lily Lady, Cassandra Floyd, Nichole Katsikas, and Janis Robertson. A raffle with store items will raise money for the library.
A hushed bunker of underground publishing where zines, self-published oddities, and art books stack into dreamy, half-lit towers. More gallery than quiet study hall, it pulses with rotating exhibits, video projections under trees, and weekend collabs with zine vendors. Membership lets you check out from the collection; as a visitor, you’ll just want to hang and soak in the weird, slow magic.
