Cheetah Quila hosts a Halloween drag show themed around American Horror Story, with Soraya Sis, Hex Haruspex, I'm Baby, Saint Azriel and Julius Nicoy performing. Suggested $10-$20 donation at the door.
A sultry little Brooklyn hideaway where the lighting is low, the drinks are strong, and the energy creeps up on you. The cocktail menu runs from a Medusa Sour with gin and Midori to unpretentious beer-and-shot pairings, and the solar-powered backyard garden is where you end up when the burlesque shows and DJ sets inside get too electric.
Ten to One Rum, espresso, coffee liqueur, Irish cream, and agave — rich and complex.
Vodka, elderflower, lemon, pomegranate, and butterfly pea flower.
Gin, Midori, lemon, lime, egg white, basil, and cherry.
