Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM · Volstead Lounge, East Austin, Austin
Second annual Gilmore Girls themed party at Hotel Vegas and Volstead Lounge. Features Gilmore Girls trivia, a Luke Danes look-alike contest, indie karaoke, live music, a Cranberries cover band, themed cocktails, and a vendor market. Free entry, 21+. | Price: Free
Cocktails from a legit mixologist share the menu with tall boys and old-world wines, reflecting Volstead’s New Orleans. Leaning bar program that refuses to separate things by price point or occasion. The backyard patio is deceptively large from the street, with a dance floor that comes alive when the DJs start. Drag brunch from the Vixens of Volstead (two-time Austin Chronicle Best Drag Showcase winners) packs the weekends, so reservations aren’t optional.
