Translators Helen Dimos and William Rowe celebrate César Vallejo's experimental poetry collection Trilce as part of the Words Around the World series.
Three-floor independent bookstore at the corner of Columbus and Jack Kerouac Alley that doubles as a publisher, the press launched the Pocket Poets Series in the fifties and has been printing books from the same address ever since. The poetry room on the upper floor is the reason most people make the climb; the ground floor runs the full range from biography to Beat literature to local zines. Open late, every day.
