Parkside Lounge hosts its 7th annual pumpkin carving contest, judged on funniest, most creative, and best in show. Bring your own pumpkin; carving tools are provided.
An old-school dive with no patience for pretense. The stage in the back has hosted everything from punk shows to poetry readings, and the jukebox up front is stacked with the kind of songs that sound better and better with each round. A place for cheap beer, live performances, and the kind of nights that stretch longer than you planned.
