Sunday, October 25, 2026, 2:00 AM - 5:00 AM · Bob Baker Marionette Theater, Highland Park, Los Angeles
Bob Baker Marionette Theater and the Elysian co-present their 4th annual Halloween costume ball with a live Spooktacular puppet performance, a costume contest, and a DJ set on the theater's red carpet. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit puppet theater, with special guest performers throughout the night.
Perch on a red-cushioned carpet circle as life-size marionettes strut across a vintage Art Deco stage, strings glowing under warm, theatrical lighting. This is puppetry far from kindergarten fare. The space, a lovingly reimagined 1920s silent-era movie house, folds nostalgia and hand-crafted charm into every corner. From the lobby’s daisy‑tile floors to post‑show free scoops of ice cream for all ages.
